More Information...

Short Description:
Analyzes a series of five focus groups conducted among college age students to discuss attitudes toward fur.

Abstract:

The majority of participants noted little or no exposure to the fur debate at all over the last 12 months.

Most felt that the statement, "Real fur is understandably controversial, but people should still have a choice to buy it" reflected their view accurately.

19 of 46 respondents said that they own a real fur garment, while 25 of 46 said they own a faux fur garment.
